Cockpit Resource Management

Cockpit Resource Management (CRM) training is mandatory for all professional pilots. An initial course has to be completed before they can conduct public transport flights and a refresher course every 3 years.

The course is also highly recommended for private pilots.

We have on our staff an experienced instructor who is authorised by the CAA to conduct CRM courses aimed specifically at helicopter pilots flying single engine helicopters, single pilot.

As well as training pilots for various UK based Air Operator Certificate (AOC) holding companies, he has trained crews for air ambulance trusts, police forces, British Gas/Transco and ICI.

The course consists of one day of training and includes an analysis of accidents, concentrating on decision making and situational awareness, risk awareness and management.

The cost of the course is £200 + VAT
