Type ratings

The qualified pilot can further his/her experience by qualifying on other types of helicopter, such as the very popular 4 seat Robinson R44 or the 5 seat Bell Jetranger 206. Please see our Fleet for further information.

We offer type rating conversion on the following aircraft:

• Robinson R22
• Robinson R44
• Bell 206 Jetranger
• Bell 206 Longranger

The training course includes a minimum of 5 hours of flight training, ground school tuition covering the flight manual and a detailed "A Check" of the helicopter, a written multiple choice examination of the helicopter type and a flight test.
